"Sara's approach to teaching piano exceeded my expectations. My early elementary child is extremely active and inquisitive. Sara met her each week with a smile and found a way to do whatever it took to keep her interested, focused and having fun. As a beginner my child was introduced to composing, playing by ear, staff reading, counting, rhythm and much more. My junior high aged daughter had an equally positive experience with Sara. Sara's vast skill set combined with her extremely kind personality is the perfect combination for a piano teacher. Time with Sara left both of my girls with a new appreciation, love and understanding of music. I am forever grateful." -Heidi Hunt, parent from Marion, IN |
"Sara is very nice and we had lots of fun together. At first I didn't want to practice but now I like to practice. My favorite part of piano lessons is counting, composing and prizes." -Monroe Hunt, elementary aged student from Marion, IN
"My son has been going to Sara for a few months now and it has been an excellent experience. She is prepared for every class, has a clear goal for each class, yet is able to change course as the child needs. She is patient, amazingly patient, during the class. The child comes away with a positive association which is critical early in their learning process. She was instrumental (no pun) in helping us making a decision regarding the piano to buy, going above and beyond to help us make a decision." -Ravi Nagavarapu, parent from Waukesha, WI
"I was a piano student of Sara's for the past two years while she was in college. After my retirement, I decided to start playing again and increase my skills after a nearly 50 year hiatus! She not only made me comfortable, but was a highly effective instructor. I now love to play again. I highly recommend Sara to anyone, regardless of age." -Sue Simpson, student from Marion, IN
"Sara has been absolutely great with our eight-year-old son. She is incredibly gentle and patient, and she is always encouraging. I’m amazed at what my son can do on the piano just after one year!" -Jake Cadwell, parent from Waukesha, WI
